Personal Lines Account Manager
Goals:
- Identify and produce new accounts and review current accounts
- Actively seek referrals from current client base to solicit for new business
- Generate new business using prospect database
Daily activity:
30-45 days prior to renewal, conduct customer review. Obtain information and assess client profile to determine eligibility for new products/carriers/coverage
Process all changes and new business accurately and timely
Bind coverage per underwriting rules and provide written binder as requested
Process payment and provide receipt
Obtain all support/underwriting requirements prior to binding as requested
Explain coverage and exclusions to clients
Maintain accurate tracking of claims to assure profitability
Report to management weekly
Develop forms as needed
Maintains accuracy and timeliness when interacting with customers, agencies, and company personnel to minimize potential for an E&O claim
Solicit expiration dates for policies
Perform special projects at management or client request
Accurately complete new applications following underwriting guidelines.
Maintain customers profile with correct contact information
Receive phone calls, office visitors requesting quotes and service. Determines acceptability and placement, completes application or endorsements, collects and processes payments.
Commercial Lines Administrator
Assists Sales Executive and Account Manager in servicing and retaining of Commercial Accounts. Works to ensure that client retention goals are met by responding promptly to requests from Sales Executive and Account Manager.
Daily Activity
30-45 days prior to renewal, conduct client review. Obtain information and assess client profile to determine eligibility for new products/carriers/coverage
Process certificates at the direction of the Account Manager or Sales Executive
Follow up with Carriers for receipt of endorsements
Review and process endorsements, invoicing where necessary and updating the physical file with the changes made by the endorsement
Processing some audits at the direction of the Account Manager
Ordering Loss Runs
Input initial applications in TAM
Assist with spreadsheets and premium allocations on some accounts
File set ups for both Agency and Client
Initial Policy checks, including policy forms, policy term, policy number, premium, commission, etc
Maintains a courteous and effective relationship with clients, co-workers, carriers, and other business contacts
Regularly shares knowledge and skills with others
Perform special projects at management or client request
Remains informed regarding industry information, new product information, legislation, coverage’s, and technology
